last shot from our excursion to the zoo today. this is a snapping alligator turtle. i swear it looked like at the time like he was trying to look smooth and suave. silly turtle.

This photo is wonderful-the colour and lighting is very good indeed. The background is also well put. The lightness on the turtles mouth is a very succesful highlight and attention draw. Very good work!

Did you know, they found one of these living in the sewers and drains under Sydney, a few years ago? It was full grown.... They think it was stolen from the zoo, when it was little, and later released into the drains.

Not a nice animal. But a nice shot of those jaws. I like the green tinge from (I'm assuming?) the lights.
